1. Start with a piece of white cardstock measuring 2.5 x 6. 2. Use chalks to shade the bookmark. 3. Stamp holly leaves in various colors (Green Tea, Soft Wheat, Evergreen) around the edge of the bookmark. Then stamp the berries stamp in Cardinal ink, interspersed in the holly leaves. 4. On a piece of white cardstock, stamp the cardinal with black ink. Then line up with the scalloped oval template and cut out the oval with the cardinal centered as you like it (or stamp on a pre-cut scalloped oval). 5. Color the cardinal with the red marker. 6. Use Butterscotch chalk on the edge of this scalloped oval. 7. Stamp holly leaves and holly berries on the bottom portion of the oval, using the same colors you used earlier. 8. Cut two green scalloped ovals. 9. Glue the green scalloped ovals and glue behind the stamped oval. 10. Place ribbon and oval embellishment on top of bookmark. 11. Mark placement for brads and attach brads through the oval, through the ribbon, and through the bookmark itself. 12. Use a slightly larger piece of burgundy designer paper to cover backs of brads and to finish off the bookmark.
