Stamps: Holiday Stocking peg stamp set Thanks for the Memories Mini peg stamp
Paper: Cardstock half-sheet (5.5 x 8.5 inches), folded Light Burgundy quarter-sheet (4.25 x 5.5 inches) Dark Burgundy designer paper scrap (I used Basic Grey) White cardstock – 2 x 6 inche White cardstock scrap
Other Accessories: Adhesive pearls – Rose Thin pink cording Cuttlebug embossing envelope - D’Vine Swirls Oval die-cut (I used Spellbinders #S4-111) Gelly Roll Stardust Clear Glitter Pen
Instructions: Run the Light Burgundy cardstock through the embossing envelope and scuff the raised areas with Bark ink. Glue this piece to the card-base.
Run the Dark Burgundy designer paper through the embossing envelope and tear a strip of it lengthwise (about 1.5-2 inches wide and 6 inches long). Use the glitter pen on the edges of the resulting white area where you tore the designer paper. Glue this piece to the card-base. Set aside.
Using all the stamps in the set and Bamboo ink, stamp a random pattern on the white paper so that it looks similar to a fabric pattern. Tear one side of the paper lengthwise and apply glitter with the glitter pen to the torn area. Size to fit the card-base and glue down.
Run the white cardstock scrap through the die-cut machine. Then use the chalks to create a background for your stamping. Stamp the following stamps and inks:
Tiny Flower in Burgundy, then in Ash Rose
Itsy Sparkling Star in Olive
Tiny Stocking in Burgundy
Tiny Holly Branch in Bamboo
Star Tinsel in Pinecone
Thanks for the Memories in Pinecone ink.
Then scuff the edges of the scalloped oval with the Umber inkpad.
Optional: glue this to a white piece of cardstock and trim away the excess, leaving a thin pinstripe.
Embellish the card with the pink cording and adhesive pearl and you're finished.
