I bought the candle holders at my local Dollar Tree, sprayed the outside of
them with some Krylon glass frosting spray (available at craft and home
improvement stores). I used a small make-up sponge and Staz-on olive green
ink to give the top 1" or so of the candle holder a light green tint, then I
stamped them as follows:
Cardinal in Holly:
Mini Holly Bough = Staz-on olive green ink
Tiny Chinese Privet = Staz-on black cherry
Mini Cardinal = Staz-on Jet Black
I colored the cardinal with Bic Mark-its permanent markers, but you could
also use Sharpies.
Winter Pine:
Conifer Branch = Staz-on olive green ink
Mini & Tiny Long Pinecones = Staz-on timber brown
