Inks - Versacolor Peony, Green Tea, Orchid; and Archival Black
Papers - Pink card stock half-sheet, folded Dark Pink card stock Speckled White card stock - 2.5 x 4.25
Tools - Cuttlebug embossing envelopes - "Victoria" and "Distressed Stripes" Spellbinders dies - Scalloped Ovals Large (S4-111) ScoreIt Board
Embellishments - Ribbons Button
Instructions - Run the Pink half-sheet through the "Distressed Stripes" embossing folder. Then use the largest die in the set to cut out a Dark Pink scalloped oval. Then run this through the "Victoria" embossing folder. Glue the embossed oval onto the card base. Tie the ribbons and fasten to the card base and set aside for a moment.
Make the little envelope - On one end of the Speckled White card stock strip (this will become the envelope flap end when you are finished) stamp the stamp set in the following colors:
Branch - Archival Black Large Cherry Blossom - Peony Small Cherry Blossom - Peony Leaves - Green Tea Branch - Orchid
Fold the Speckled White card stock strip 1.25 inches from one end. Then fold again 1.25 inches from the other end. Trim off the corners of the envelope flap. Further embellish the little envelope by using the Branch stamp in Orchid ink to create some texture. Note: if you want your envelope to actually open and close, let the bit of glue dry completely before closing the envelope flap).
Add the button to the envelope (I stitched the threads and actually glued the button to the card, rather than sewing) and you're finished!
