Papers – White card stock half-sheet, folded Light Green parchment paper - 3.75 x 5 inches Burnt Orange card stock – slightly larger the Light Green card stock Spring Green card stock scrap White card stock - small piece Papers for tearing – Green, Gold, and Burnt Orange
Inks – Versacolor Sage Green Tea Bark Pinecone Archival Black
Chalk - Butterscotch Cuttlebug embossing envelopes – “Victoria” and “Textile Textures” Oval dies – I used Spellbinders Classic Ovals Large (S4-110)
Instructions - Run the White half-sheet through the “Victoria” embossing folder. Then edge with the chalk. Set aside.
Using the Gold Paint Pen, edge the Light Green parchment paper. Let the paint dry completely and then run the same piece through the “Textile Textures” embossing envelope. Next, glue to the Burnt Orange card stock and trim away the excess, leaving a pinstripe of Burnt Orange showing. Now run this layered piece through the die cut machine using the oval die and set aside.
Stamp on White card stock the following stamps and ink colors:
Tree in Sage. Then stamp again in Archival Black.
Stamp the Buck in Pinecone.
Stamp the Doe in Pinecone.
Stamp both Fawns in Bark and set aside momentarily.
Tear the colored papers to make a landscape texture and edge using the Gellyroll pen. Once you have established placement, glue all the layers together and glue behind the Light Green Parchment oval. Then glue the White stamped deer scene behind this.
Using two different sized dies and Spring Green card stock, run them through the die cut machine (I used a magnetic sheet to hold them in place). Glue the resulting Green frame on top of the card Light Green parchment paper.
Tie ribbons around this layered piece, then glue it to the White card base you made earlier. That's it; you're done!
