Heart Punch
Instructions -
Run the Pink card stock through the Swiss Dots embossing folder. Scuff the raised areas and the card edges with Umber ink. Set aside.
Take the White card stock and stamp a border of Leaves in Bamboo ink. Chalk the outer border of leaves with the Moss Chalk. Fill the inner portion of the panel with more Leaves in Bamboo ink. Now scribble a border between the original stamped area and the inside stamped area with the VersaMark Marker. Chalk the border with the Light Mauve Chalk.
Use the ScoreIt pad to make retangular indentions inside the border of Leaves to separate the two areas. Chalk a little more with the Light mauve Chalk if necessary.
Now trim the excess from the outer edges of the stamped area. Attach the resulting piece to the card base with the PopIt! tape. Then attach the Ribbon (along with the Pink Cord) with the two Heart Brads to the card base.
Now make the Bed of Leaves and the Heart Medallion...
BED of LEAVES
Use the Bark and Umber inks on a White card stock scrap and trim out. Attach this cut-out to the card base.
HEART MEDALLION
Then stamp the Leaves stamp in Memories Soft Wheat ink on the White scrap of paper to create a background. Next, stamp the "happy day" sentiment in Old Rose ink. center it in the Heart Punch and punch out. Edge the heart with Bark ink, then the Gold Paint Pen. Next, cut out a slightly larger heart from the Brown card stock and run it through the "Swiss Dots" embossing folder. Glue the "happy day" sentiment on top of the Brown card stock and attach the resulting medallion to the card base.
Last, garnish the card with some Rose colored Adhesive Pearls and you're done.
