Chalk - Butterscotch Ribbon - Pale Yellow Polka Dots and Blue and Violet Raggedy Ribbon
Instructions - Run the Yellow card stock half-sheet through the embossing folder and then scuff the raised edges with Narcissus ink. Use the Butterscotch Chalk on top of the Narcissus ink and set aside.
Run the Dark Blue card stock through the die cut machine using two dies. I used the die measuring 2.25 x 3 inches and the next-smaller die in the set. Once you have your rectangular frame cut out, edge the inside of the frame with the Gold Paint Pen and set aside.
Take the White card stock scrap measuring 2.25 x 3 inches and, using Narcissus ink and the Dragonfly stamp, stamp a background pattern of random dragonflies. Next, use the Butterscotch Chalk to brighten up the dragonflies. Glue this background piece behind the Blue Frame you made earlier and set it aside until it is time to put all the elements of the card together.
Now take the White quarter-sheet and stamp an undulating garden swath along the bottom third of the sheet, using the following stamps and inks: Peruvian Lily in Indigo ink and then again in Grape Solid Ripply Foliage in Green Tea Tiny Trillium Solid in Bamboo ink Little Leaves Vine in Charcoal Tiny Real Dragonfly in Charcoal
Once you have finished stamping, trim away the unstamped top portion of the paper. Now affix the brads and tie the ribbon. Next, glue the garden swath to the card base, leaving the inner fringy portion free (so other elements can slip behind it).
Make the Medallions and Embellishments - On White card stock, stamp the sentiments in Grape ink. Then line up the sentiments in the Square Punch and punch out. Then use the Solid Ripply Foliage stamp and Green Tea ink around the edges. Edge with Narcissus ink and glue the medallions to the Purple card stock. Set aside for now.
Stamp a Spray of Peruvian Lilies on another White piece of paper, using Indigo and Grape inks. Then stamp the Solid Ripply Foliage in Green Tea. Cut out and set aside.
On another White card stock scrap, stamp a single Peruvian Lily in Indigo ink and cut out. Set aside for now.
Last, stamp a few Dragonflies in Charcoal ink and cut out.
Assemble the Elements - Glue the Spray of Peruvian Lilies to the Rectangular Frame you made earlier. Then use PopIt! Shapes to attach the Medallions and the Single Peruvian Lily to the card base, nestling them in and among the fringed areas of the garden swath. Then add the Purple and Blue ribbon. Last, glue the Dragonflies (I used PopIt! tape for one of the dragonflies). If you like, finish the card off with some tiny tipped glitter glue and you're done!
