Inks - Versacolor Charcoal, Marigold, Peony, Lapislazuli, Green Tea, Bamboo, and Evergreen; Archival Black
Embellishments - Yellow Colored Pencil Ribbon Gold Paint Pen Cuttlebug embossing folders - "Birds and Swirls" and "Mesh" PopIt! Shapes - (I used Square)
Instructions - Run the Dark Green half-sheet through the "Birds and Swirls" embossing folder. Then use the Charcoal ink to scuff the raised areas of the embossed design. Set aside.
Take the White paper and stamp the following: Stamp the Flower in Marigold, a second time in Lapislazuli, and a third time in Peony ink. Stamp the Leaf in Green Tea and then again in Bamboo ink. Stamp the Sprig in Archival Black ink. Color in the open areas of the Sprig with the Yellow Colored Pencil. Edge the panel with the Gold Paint Pen and then glue this piece on top of the Black card stock piece. Glue the resulting piece to the Burgundy card stock piece and set aside for now.
Take the Dark Green strip of paper and run it through the "Mesh" embossing folder. Then edge using the Gold Paint Pen. Once the paint has dried, fold the card and attach it to the panel you stamped earlier. Next, tie the ribbon around the panel and the Green Envelope. Set aside for now.
Make Cut-out Embellishments - On a White scrap of paper, stamp several Flowers in Evergreen ink. Then stamp a single Flower in Peony ink. Next, stamp several Leaf combinations in Green Tea ink. Use Black ink and stamp a hummingbird. Then cut these out and glue the Flowers and Leaves behind and on top of the stamped panel for dimension and on top of the folded Green note. Last, mount the Hummingbird onto the Flowers (using PopIt! Shapes tape) in the center of the note and you're finished!
