Stamps - Saponaria Solid Peg Stamp – Mini “Hope you're feeling better” block stamp
Papers - Rose colored designer paper - 4 x 8 inches, folded White card stock scraps
Inks - Versacolor Orchid, Bark, Narcissus
Other Tools and Stuff Cuttlebug embossing folder - “Textile Textures” Oval die – I used Spellbinders Classic Ovals Large (S4-110) Gold Paint Pen Chalk - Butterscotch Ribbon PopIt! Shapes foam tape (I used Square)
Instructions - Run the Rose card base through the Cuttlebug embossing folder and set aside. Then stamp a wreath made of flowers, using the following inks: Stamp first in Orchid and then again in Bark. Then cut the wreath out and attach it to the card base. Set aside while you make the medallion.
On another White scrap, stamp the Flower using Narcissus ink, making a background. Use the oval die to cut out and then edge the oval with the Gold Paint Pen. Attach to the card base along with the ribbon. Set aside while you make the Floral / Sentiment cut-out.
On another White scrap, stamp the sentiment in Bark ink. Then stamp some flowers around the sentiment, using Narcissus ink. Use the Butterscotch Chalk on the flowers to darken them somewhat. Make sure to Chalk before the Narcissus ink is dry so the chalk will stick.
Next, cut out the florally decorated sentiment and then edge the cut-out with Bark ink. Use PopIt! tape to mount to the oval on the card base and you're finished!
