Inks - Versacolor Khaki, Grape, Indigo, Bamboo, Green Tea, Bark, and Sage; Memories Soft Wheat
Other Tools and Supplies - Cuttlebug embossing folder - “Textile Textures” Pencil Colored Pencil - Yellow Medium Punch – Square Gold Paint Pen PopIt! Shapes – I used Square
Instructions - Run the Light Green folded half-sheet through the embossing folder and then distress some of the raised portions and the edges with the Khaki ink. Set aside for now.
On the White quarter sheet, take the pencil and draw connecting parentheses on the four edges of the paper. Cut the shape out with scissors. You will end up with what looks like a large label. Then stamp the following around the border:
Stamp the Mini Giant Pansy in Grape ink. Stamp the Mini Giant Pansy again, this time in Indigo ink.
Stamp the Itsy Pansy in Neptune ink.
Stamp the Mini Hollyhock Vine in Green Tea. For added dimension, stamp a second time before re inking.
Stamp the Tiny Witch Hazel Leaf in Bamboo ink.
Stamp the Tiny Squiggle Right in Bark ink.
After the ink is dry, use the Gold Paint Pen to edge the decorative panel. Then glue the panel to a piece of Dark Purple card stock and trim away the excess, leaving a Dark Purple edge. Set aside for now.
Make the Center Pane - Take the 2 x 3 Purple card stock and edge with the Gold Paint Pen. Set aside.
Then take the 1.5 x 2.5-inch piece of White card stock and use Memories Soft Wheat ink to make a background of Mini Giant Pansies. Then edge with the Gold Paint Pen. Glue to the Purple piece you just made and glue to the stamped panel you made earlier.
Make Floral Embellishment - On a White scrap stamp the following along the border:
Stamp the Mini Giant Pansy in Grape ink.
Stamp the Mini Hollyhock in Green Tea ink.
Stamp the Tiny Squiggle Right in Bark ink.
Then cut the strip out. Use PopIt! Shapes foam tape to attach the embellishment to the Center Pane you made earlier. Now tie the ribbon around the stamped panel, just on top of the Floral Embellishment and glue the resulting ensemble to the card base.
Make the Sentiment Medallion - Take the “love and kisses” block stamp and use Grape ink on a White card stock scrap. Then use the Mini Hollyhock stamp and Sage ink to create a background for the sentiment. Because the Sage ink is so light, it won't hurt to stamp over portions of the sentiment. When you have finished stamping and the ink is dry, punch out the medallion using the Medium Square Punch. Then use the Gold Paint Pen to edge the medallion. Glue the square to a scrap piece of Dark Purple card stock and then trim away the excess. Glue the medallion among the flowers on the Floral Embellishment. Add tiny tipped glitter glue, if so inclined, and you're done!
