Instructions
Making the Card
Run the Light Green and White designer paper through the machine using the "Distressed Stripes" embossing folder. Use the Umber ink to scuff the raised areas and the edges of the embossed card base. Set aside for now.
While you are at the machine, run the Orange paper and the Scallped Oval Die through the machine using the "Swiss Dots" embossing folder. Use the Bark ink to scuff some of the raised dots and the edge of the scalloped oval. Set aside for now.
Take the White card pre-measured card stock piece and stamp the following in an oval pattern:
Stamp the Solid Rose in Narcissus.
Then stamp the Solid Rose again, this time in Old Rose ink.
Stamp a third time, using Ash Rose ink.
Stamp a fourth time, using Bark ink.
Then stamp the Leaf Stamp in Green Tea ink.
Follow with the Fern in Bamboo ink.
When you are finished stamping, tear the top and the bottom of the paper and scuff all four edges of the stamped paper using the Bark ink.
Tie ribbons around this piece and glue it to the card base.
Making the Medallion
On a White scrap, stamp an ensemble using the following:
Stamp the Solid Rose stamp in Narcissus, then again in Old Rose.
Stamp the Leaves in Green Tea.
Then cut out the cluster of flowers and edge it with the Umber ink first and follow with the Gold Paint Pen (I used a stylus to punch some tiny holes around the cut-out, too, but this is optional).
Arrange some sheer ribbons behind the cut-out and glue the cut-out to the Light Orange oval you made earlier. Glue the resulting medallion to the card base and you're finished!
