Instructions
Make the Card
Run the Pea Green card stock through the die cut machine using the D'Vine Swirls embossing folder. Then use the Bamboo ink to scuff some of the raised portions of the paper. Set aside for now.
Then take up the Dark Blue card stock piece and run it through the die cut machine using the “Swiss Dots” embossing folder. Set aside.
Take the larger piece of White card stock and stamp the following:
Stamp the Tea Cup in Sage ink to make a border. Then use the Tea Cup in Neptune ink, stamping a second time before re-inking.
Stamp the Tea Pot in Neptune ink.
Stamp the Flowers in Peony and then again in Split Pea.
Stamp the Leaves in Green Tea.
Edge this piece with the Gold Paint Pen and set aside for now.
Take the small White card stock piece and stamp the following:
Stamp the Leaves in Sage ink.
Stamp the Flowers in Neptune ink.
Edge with the Gold Paint pen and set aside.
Now stamp the Cut-outs:
On a White scrap, stamp the Tea Pot in Peony ink.
Stamp the Tea Cup in Peony ink two times, the second time without re-inking.
Stamp the Leaves in Green Tea.
Cut out these pieces and mount onto the small White piece you made in the earlier step. Glue the small White rectangle to the larger rectangle and then tie the ribbon around the ensemble. Glue to the Blue card stock and glue the resulting piece to the card base.
Make the Sentiment Medallion
On a small White card stock scrap, the Flowers in Sage ink for a background.
On top of the background, stamp the mini peg stamp “Time for Tea” sentiment in Neptune ink. Cut out around the tea tag and then edge the card stock with the Gold Paint pen. Mount to the card with PopIt! Shapes foam tape. And that's all there is to it!
